Changes, Updates, and Hello CynJin!

Hello, hello! This past year has brought its fair share of change to the store—and the blog hasn’t really kept up.  The most notable difference around the shop is that we have a new owner! Anna Shields has taken the reigns (check back for a blog-bio on Anna in the coming weeks).  One of the best things about Anna’s presence has been the introduction of several new brands, beginning last fall, but really taking full effect this season.  We’ve had some really amazing pieces gracing our racks this spring and summer! We hope to pick up where the blog left off and start a new series of posts introducing new designers as they come in, so you can be just as excited as we are! We wanted to start today by introducing a brand that’s been in the shop for just a couple of months now: Cyn Jin.

Hailing from LA, designers Cynthia Johnson and Jin Cha (you might recognize their names as previous James Pearse designers) wanted to make a line of basic, high-end essentials.  Using high quality fabrics and keeping all production state-side, they have created an effortless look that every woman can feel confident in—and that’s their edge: effortless chic.  Intended for a life-on-the-go that we all know too well, these pieces will quickly become the most lived-in items in your closet.

In the store, we have two button downs and a shirt dress available, but as always, the size runs are limited, so get them while they last—and judging by the reaction so far, they wont last long (we had a trouser that’s already sold out)!
